If you haven't gotten mail and goodies by now, check with Eileen at the
office! Don't want the food to ruin! While you're there, tell her I
haven't gotten any mail from you even I've checked every day at the Post
Office and at home.

Sent another food package today over two pounds of home made goodness!
I'll send one more of the same on Monday! Guess I'll have to call and see if
you're in the same cabin next week.

Talked with Beth's mother and all seems to be GO for the BB weekend! I
wrote you more about that in a REAL card.

Still nothing much happening here. The heat continues, but everything else
is normal. Except that we had a HUGE meteorite hit in the backyard last
night and started a few small fires. It's still too hot to get close to. I
thought I heard the sound of something large being unscrewed early this
morning, but I'm sure I'm mistaken. Just in case, I put Rexy in the back
yard. If that thing is really a flying saucer, they will get a real
surprise!

We had a "clear air tornado" this morning. They are very rare and
completely invisible, so maybe we didn't after all.

I keep forgetting to watch "So Weird" on TV. But so much of that stuff is
unbelievable. I prefer to face reality instead of living in a fantasy
world.

Nothing else new. Oh, we did have a flash flood caused by everyone
watering their lawns at the same time. It was so funny watching those cars
float by. Ours was in the garage, so it's okay.

Speaking of reality, my internet service is not working well, but I've
figured out a way to get out one email at a time. I can't receive or view
pages though, so haven't been able to check out THE PINES Website any more.

More tomorrow, I hope! Maybe something unusual will happen.

LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU!

DAD DUH!
